This NUNA Camellia Petals Face Serum packs quite a powerful combo of ingredients into a face serum. From vitamin C, niacinamide, peptides, centella asiatica, and Camellia japonica to name the heavy hitters this has got a lot of them. This goes without saying to review your current routine when adding this in. When I'm going to test out a new product I go to using a basic facial cleanser, toner, and moisturizer for a few weeks first to give my face a baseline before subbing in the product. This way I can really test a product and use it for at least a month. I will say this is effective in keeping my face moisturized without any greasy residual. I thought the petals in the serum would affect this but it just melts away. The fact that it's almost fragrance-free is amazing too because there's no clashing of scents between any products if you use any sprays or makeup that may have fragrances. I do think this helps on days where I'm tired and my face normally has more redness; this helps calm it down. No irritation for my acne-prone face! I would say despite this being an expensive product it is a good value for your money. I only need a couple pumps for my face if even more than one. So it goes a long way. It's also in a glass bottle which is great for the product itself. This is definitely on my list of products to order outside of Amazon Vine.

We have been on the lookout for a new hydrating serum for my wife's skincare routine and we found this NUNA Camellia Petals Ampoule Serum. My wife has really enjoyed adding this into her routine. She loves the lightweight gel texture, and the little petal fragments melting into her skin as she applies it feels like a nice little extra touch. With niacinamide, vitamin C, and centella asiatica in the mix, she's noticed her skin feeling calmer and more hydrated since adding it in. It soaks in quickly too, no sticky or heavy residue left behind afterward, so it layers well under her moisturizer and makeup without any pilling. The subtle floral scent is a nice bonus, she said it makes the whole routine feel a little more like self care instead of just another step. After some more testing, she said her rosacea is floating up more. She loves the stuff but it doesn't seem to help anymore. But that could be an individual experience

There are multiple things about this Ampoule that have made it a standout! This serum is lightweight and very unique. It contains countless tiny red particles (each pump I use contains them) that are fun and make this look incredibly gorgeous in bottle. I really cant feel the red particles but note as I pat this serum in they gradually dissolve, especially with the addition of other skincare layers. My skin instantly drinks in this serum and it leaves my skin with a very nice hydrated, radiant glow. It leaves a light humectant based finish and layers really well with other skincare in my routine with nothing about it feeling irritating on my skin that is prone to rosacea and reactivity. This contains a terrific blend of calming ingredients that also offer nice firming benefits for my over 40 aging skin. It is fragrance, irritant free and in addition to its excellent peptide complex that includes Copper Tripeptide, Acetyl Hexapeptide + 8 others ) it also contains carnosine (strong antioxidant), Camellia Japonica and Centella Asiatica Extract (both great soothers I love with antioxidant benefits as well).I also appreciate the stable (less irritating) form of vitamin C (ascorbic acid polypeptide) used in this formula that offers my skin a great brightening and antioxidant boost. Everything about this ampoule is perfect for both my skin type & skin concerns & my skin has been thriving with this addition. This serum is breathtaking in its glass bottle, easily resembling serums that cost double if not triple. I have seen very nice results already in a short amount of time that include decreased redness, increased resilience, improved skin tone and an overall brighter, more radiant complexion. This serum feels like the star player of this NUNA Camellia Japonica line and one I can appreciate for both its immediate radiance boosting, redness soothing benefits as its long term firming potential. I give this my full recommendation to even those with more sensitive or reactive skin that are looking for a gentle but effective serum that offers these soothing, firming, and antioxidant benefits I am enjoying.
